SCHOLARSHIPS
- Scholarships are posted in CaliforniaColleges.edu Go to “Financial Aid Planning” and click on “Find Scholarships”. Then click on “Scholarship Finder” and edit/add/change criteria. Then click on “See Matching Scholarships.”
- Local community-based scholarship information will be e-mailed, posted in Haiku, and in morning announcements.
- www.fastweb.com or www.chegg.com are free nationally based scholarship websites.
- The CHS Scholarship office is open Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, hours vary and are posted (located in the Counseling Center). Students may sign up on the Scholarship clipboard to request an appointment.
- Scholarships are FREE $$$$, you don’t have to pay it back - BUT it does take time and effort to research scholarships, fill out the applications and submit them.
- Many scholarships require letters of recommendation. Please plan well enough in advance if you are going to request a letter from school faculty: 2 weeks notice required.
- If you receive any scholarships, please let Ms. Binford know so we can honor you at our Scholarship Night at the end of the year.
